Wild Boar, Forest of Dean

Here’s another wild boar shot taken during the recent snowfall. The snow presents no problem to the boar at all – they’re well insulated with their double coats, and their snouts dig straight through it to reach the food beneath. This boar had a trail of Robins following him around taking advantage of the exposed soil. I recorded some video of a different boar feeding surrounded by Robins which is here.
